Disney News - Fall 1974

Disney
News, which was the "Official Magazine for Magic Kingdom Club Families"
before it later morphed into a general audience magazine, published an article
about the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Haunted Mansions in its Fall 1974
issue, which would have been in homes for the Halloween season. The lead paragraph
describes how ghosts in America seem to prefer the eastern and southern states,
with Disneyland's facade capturing "the spirit of the Old South,"
and Disney World's "resembling the nightmare architecture of Edgar Allen
Poe." You can click any page to download a larger version.
